JACRS article: Head injuries and helmet legislation

A new article published in the August 2010 issue of the Journal of the Australasian College of Road Safety concludes that “It is likely that factors other than the mandatory helmet legislation reduced head injuries among cyclists”.

Published in the Health Promotion Journal of Australia, a new evaluation shows that the Western Sydney Cycling Network bicycle loan scheme positively contributed to increased cycling.

There were many signficant positive effects from the Cycling Connecting Communities project. The evaluation research paper was published in February 2010 in the on-line International Journal of Behavioral Nutrition and Physical Activity: Click here
