Liverpool Bicycle User Group, or LiveBUG, is a bicycle user group affiliated with Bicycle NSW which covers Liverpool and its surrounding areas. We are ordinary people who ride bicycles and share an interest in them so we are all levels of fitness and experience. We ride a variety of bicycles either for transport, recreation, exercise or just for fun.
Our aims are to promote the use of bicycles, promote road safety education and advocate for cyclists in our area. We also:
- organise regular social rides where you can meet friends, exercise and have fun at the same time
- raise problems or concerns about cycling with the relevant authorities
- participate in community activities that promote cycling.
We meet regularly to coordinate cycling and advocacy activities. Our next meeting is on Tuesday 18th August, from 6 – 7pm at Thomas & Rachel Moore Education Centre, Liverpool Hospital. The other meeting date for 2009 is Tuesday November 19th.
