Miller bike fleet

Miller bike fleetA new bike fleet is providing Aboriginal men with a healthy way to travel around Sydney’s south west. The fleet consists of six bikes and was recently launched at The Hub in Miller. Read more about this initiative in the recent Koori Mail article (PDF, 149KB) about this.

The bikes can be used to provide transport to attend medical appointment and job interviews and also to do skills courses and go on rides. The bike poster (PDF, 263KB) has more information about how the bikes can be used and how locals can borrow one for the day. The bike manual (PDF, 396KB) contains more specific information about the day to day running of the fleet.

The bike fleet is an initiative of the Miller Aboriginal Men’s group in partnership with SSWAHS, Mission Australia and other local organisations in Miller. For more information on setting up a successful bike fleet more generally go to maps and resources on this site.
